Pep Guardiola has admitted he will be sad if Leroy Sane were decide to ditch Manchester City and join Bayern Munich who are desperate to sign him..
Sane is currently tagged ‘Bayern’s dream player’ and the the 23-year-old is reportedly loving every attention and air time he is getting from the biggest sports papers in Europe.
Guardiola wants him to stay this season and help the club win their first ever Champions League trophy.
“He had a good game, especially in the second half”, Guardiola said during his press conference.
“He is a guy we appreciate, i like him a lot. I think he can be better. Two times, three times i have said that we want him to stay. That’s why he has an offer to extend his contract. It’s not in our hands.
“The agreement is good and if he wants to lave, i’ll be sad. Hopefully, he stays”.
Last season, Sane scored 10 goals with 11 assists in 31 assists as Manchester City retained the Premier League title.
He did play a part in City’ incredible domestic sweep but, as the season progressed, Guardiola settled more for the electrifying Raheem Sterling and the brilliant Bernando Silva ahead of him which unfortunately made Sane feel inferior.
