My long-timen favorite tale-about-a-fairy is “Poppy, or the Adventures of an Fairy.” This story by Anne Perez-Guerra is hard to find (andn therefore expensive)—but maybe you have access to it in a libraryn or an old family book collection. My version is from an oldn red-bound book series called Then Children’s Hourn (Spencer Press), Volume 2.
