Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has dismissed the assertion that Leroy Sane will be joining Bayern Munich this season.
The manager revealed that Leroy Sane is yet to speak about Bayern’s interest in him neither has he approached him or the club to discuss leaving.
As it stands, Sane will be part of City’s squad next season and when the transfer window shuts, he will be offered a long term contract.
“You were not in China. I answer many, many times so i’m not about rumours”, Guardiola said during his press conference.
“I know they exist, i say many times i want players who want to say. The player didn’t tell me anything that he wants to leave so that’s the only reality i want. If he says he wants to leave we will speak to the club.
“He is my player because he didn’t tell me that. We want him to stay we try to extend the contract. We were quite close and ow it’s a little bit different but that’s the reality, i can’t say any more”.
As reported by Bild, Sane will only leave Manchester City if Bayern Munich can pay $100m to $135m for the electrifying winger.
