Van Dijk explains why he has to score more goals and win Liverpool domestic trophies

Virigil van Dijk feels he can score and still more goals going forward and still keep Liverpool’s back line impenetrable.
The dutch captain have scored seven goals with 5 assists in 73 apprentices for Liverpool and played a vital role in the club winning their sixth Champions League trophy.
Though rated as the best defender in the world and the likely FIFA and Ballon d’Or winner, Van Dijk still believes he can add more goals to his game.

“With my height and qualities with heading i should be a little bit more dangerous but it is not easy”, Van Dijk told LFCTV.
“Most of the time i am always marked by the best defensive header of the ball from the other team, but it is something i am definitely challenging myself to improve and that can only be a good thing.”
The 28-year-old also believes Liverpool have what it takes to win the the FA Cup and the Caraboa Cup despite limiting their season objective to just two trophies.

Klopp’s main objective this season is winning the Premier League title and retaining the Champions League trophy. He has no interest in winning in winning the FA Cup and Caraboa Cup.
“We want to compete in all competitions”, Van Dijk said. “It is something we aim for. We won the Champions League last year but if you look at the other competitions we played we did not do too great.
“We are going to give it a go and try to get as far as possible in all of the competitions and everybody starting  each competition will be trying their hardest. We have spoken about a lot of things, but the main thing is that we are starting over. Last year was last year”.
