In the border regions of Imphal West and Kangpokpi districts, between the Ireng and Karam sectors, the attackers, according to officials, arrived in a vehicle and attacked the people. This community can be found in the Highlands. Tribal power is strong. Conflicts between the indigenous Kuki and Meitei communities, which make up the majority in Manipur, have been ongoing since May 3 of this year. So far, this conflict has claimed the lives of almost 160 people.

Since May, there has been violence in Manipur between the Kuki and Meitei communities. These battles resulted in the deaths of hundreds of people. Many thousands of people lost their homes.
