Violence breaks out again in Manipur, leaving three dead

Members of outlawed terrorist organizations have already killed three people by shooting them in Kongpokpi district. The Kuki-Jo community was represented by those who perished in this shooting.

The report claims that these attackers, who arrived in a car, started shooting randomly at the villagers. This resulted in the deaths of all three. Questions are once again being raised regarding the state and federal governments’ claims of maintaining peace and order in the wake of the tragedy that occurred on Tuesday morning. Along with this, worries about public safety have grown.

In the border regions of Imphal West and Kangpokpi districts, between the Ireng and Karam sectors, the attackers, according to officials, arrived in a vehicle and attacked the people. This community can be found in the Highlands. Tribal power is strong. Conflicts between the indigenous Kuki and Meitei communities, which make up the majority in Manipur, have been ongoing since May 3 of this year. So far, this conflict has claimed the lives of almost 160 people.

A police officer stated, “Right now, we don’t have a lot of information.” We are aware that three people were shot and killed by unidentified assailants in the vicinity of Ireng and Karam WiFi about 8:20 a.m. Three people were killed earlier on September 8 when violence erupted in the Pallel neighborhood of Manipur’s Tengnoupal district. More than 50 people, according to him, were hurt.

Since May, there has been violence in Manipur between the Kuki and Meitei communities. These battles resulted in the deaths of hundreds of people. Many thousands of people lost their homes. As the opposition also caused a significant commotion in the Parliament over this matter, the entire session of the legislature descended into turmoil. On this matter, a no-confidence motion was filed against the Modi administration, and Prime Minister Modi eventually had to respond.
