After a massive successful run at the box office and getting critical acclaim 20th Century FOX greenlit Deadpool 2, the sequel to the 2016 Ryan Reynolds-starrer Deadpool.
And production has begun on the sequel, as Reynolds himself took to Instagram announcing that principal photography has commenced over in Vancouver, Canada.

Later on the star dropped the news that New Zealand-born Julian Dennison, most notably from Taika Waititi’s Hunt for the Wilderpeople, has joined the cast in an unknown role.

The cast includes Josh Brolin as Cable, Zazie Beetz as Domino, Jack Kesy, Shioli Kutusuna, with Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al), Stefan Kapacic (Colossus) and Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead) returning from the first film.
Deadpool 2 – slated for a June 1, 2018 release – is directed by David Leitch of John Wick fame, from a script by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.
Reynolds will also produce the film while also starring as the Merc with the Mouth.
